Samsung Gravity SMART

In addition to the Samsung Exhibit 4G, T-Mobile has another budget smartphone headed to its network this month. The first of Samsung’s Gravity lineup to be running on Android, the phone has been designed for folks looking forward to own a smartphone with a great messaging experience. The Android 2.2 device comes with T-Mobile’s Group Text and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and Swype for phone-text aficionados. Users also have the ability to pin important messages to the Gravity SMART’s homescreen for quick reference.

The Gravity SMART comes with an 800MHz processor, Android 2.2, a 3-megapixel camera with LED flash, digital zoom and camcorder for photos and videos, a 3.2″ capacitive touchscreen, microSD card slot, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. On paper, it sure feels like a cheaper version of the Sidekick 4G (also by Samsung).

The Gravity SMART will cost $29.99 or $69.99 (depending on the color of your choice) after $50 rebate and a 2-year contract. It will be in stores in June, though it’s also rumored to drop on June 8.
