The T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide has yet to be released to the mass market just yet, but Pocketnow has already gotten hold of the device’s case – giving us a better idea on how the final device will be like. Thanks to two dummy unit-filled cases that you see above, you will be able to get a better idea on what the final model will look like in your expectant hands, except for the keyboard, of course.

Also known as the Doubleshot, this is a dual-core processor device that will take over from where last year’s myTouch 4G left off. No concrete idea on the specifications, but it is speculated that the myTouch 4G Slide will come with a 3.7″ WVGA display, accompanied by 768MB RAM, and HSPA+ cellular broadband connectivity.

Whispers abound that the camera will feature an 8-megapixel sensor apart from dual flashes, so it should be no problems at all capturing imatges in low light conditions. Will optical zoom be thrown into the mix as well? Perhaps, but it would be more prudent to be patient and wait for an official press release for the handset.
