In an official press release today, TechFaith, a Chinese manufacturer has announced that it will be launching a new total motion gaming solution slated for release later this year through its 17vee platform. Not many details were released about the “solution”, but it is said to work with the iPhone and Android phones (presumably with the use of apps) by turning the smartphones into motion controllers. Something along the lines of the PlayStation Move, or perhaps even the Nintendo Wii-U? It’s too early to tell, and since TechFaith’s 17vee website is pretty much devoid of any information, anything goes. What do you think the gaming solution will turn out to be like?
