webOS 2.1 update now available for the Verizon Pre 2

It’s been a long time coming, but it’s finally here. The webOS 2.1 update for the Pre 2 on Verizon’s network is now available. While it’s no webOS 3.0, it does bring quite a number of new features to the Pre 2. With version 2.1, there’s support for Exhibition, Voice Dial, Bluetooth keyboards, text message backups, and updates to Photos, Tasks, Security and more. The update is being rolled out but not to everybody at once don’t expect to receive it just because your friend did. As for you folks on Sprint – hopefully it won’t be too long before it makes its way to your carrier.
