I do not know if you have watched CJ7, a science fiction show from Hong Kong which came out a few years ago, featuring the adventures of a young boy who was frequently bullied in school until he found an alien dog (which doesn’t look like a pooch at all, mind you) that could fashion him anything he likes – an extra terrestrial genie, so to speak. This dog actually came up with a pair of technologically advanced shoes that allowed him to excel in various athletic fields such as running and high jump. How about the modern day equivalent? Well, we are looking at the technology-laden Xsens ForceShoe which you will find giving you more than just a spring in your step.

The Xsens ForceShoe will feature a bunch of 6DoF force sensors and magnetic trackers that will work in tandem with a wireless data transmitter that is cleverly stashed away in order to help physio patients recover from their malady sooner rather than later. The inventors hail from the University of Twente, but the Xsens ForceShoe at point of publishing does seem to be more of a medical device than sporting apparel that will enhance your performance.
