The tablet market is definitely a far more competitive one today compared to what it was a couple of years back, and while that means more players in the market, not all of them are going to make it – just like newly hatched turtles who try to make it in life, although we would think the survival rate for tablets are far higher. NoteSlate is one such company that showed off promise with their $99 note-taking tablet concept that has a 13″, two-tone display earlier this year, although no concrete release date has been set yet. 

Unfortunately, the official website for NoteSlate has already been taken offline, but the company does have its presence on Twittter that mentioned the official website will be put back online next month alongside additional news on where and when the NoteSlate device will end up.

Somehow, the $99 price point that was originally quoted does not seem that likely anymore, considering the parts that go into it.
