Heard of the name Procella before? Neither have I, but for folks who are familiar with Scandinavian products, then the Procella name ought to ring a bell as the company releases their latest P15 subwoofer which is capable of churning out a maximum output of 127dB at 50Hz; thanks to its dual 350 watt drivers. This is a redesigned subwoofer that targets large home cinemas, commercial cinemas and larger rooms (up to 3,000 cubic feet), boasting dual 15″ drivers that are individually powered by 350-watt amplifiers and 28bit/56 bit ADI Sigma DSP controls, delivering a frequency response well below 20Hz and a maximum output of 127 decibels at 50Hz as mentioned earlier on-  just in case you want to get technical.

It looks rather sleek as well, and compared to the original P15, this particular revamp will rely on 3″ voice coils and high-efficiency Neodymium magnets to get the job done – and doing it well, to boot. The unit itself measures a mere 8.7″ deep, easily allowing those who want to make full use of their space to built it right into a wall without any problem.

There is a price to pay for all this quality though, and we are looking at $6,000 thereabouts. Ah well, I suppose your ears as well as those of your audience in the movie room will definitely appreciate the thought and money you put into the whole shebang.
