TekTrakIf you’re a Samsung phone user and you feel like you’re missing out on the phone-tracking service that HTC users get with HTCSense.com, fret not because Samsung now has its own offering for you. Developed by TekTrak, this app/service gives users the same peace of mind they would have with an iPhone (Find My iPhone) or an HTC phone with HTC Sense.

TekTrak will give Samsung Android phone owners the ability to track their phone in real time, check the location history of the phone (see a history of where it’s been), and let them set off the phone’s ringer – even if it’s on silent mode. These features will come free with the app – users just need to download it and register their phones.

By paying the annual fee of $4.99, users will be able to use additional features such as remote locking/unlocking of the phone, remote texting, remote WiFi-enabling, MultiLock and remote data wipe (either partial wipe or full factory restore). These additional features ensure that the data on your phone won’t be in the reach of prying eyes/hands when you lose your device.

TekTrak will be available exclusively to Samsung Android devices from Samsung Apps. If you’ve got a Samsung Android phone – what are you waiting for? Find out more about TekTrak.
