Are you looking for a new ultrabook? Here is one from Acer – the Aspire 3951 that has yet to hit the market, although it has been “leaked” so to speak – and we’re thinking that this is a leak before the IFA 2011 embargo is lifted. The real deal looks very similar to the rendered counterpart, although it does seem to be rather thick in nature in addition to being more plastic in nature.

Just what will the Acer Aspire 3951 Ultrabook go up against? For starters, it is intended to go head to head against the 13.3″ MacBook Air, where it will come with a second generation Intel Core processor that is capable of booting up from sleep mode in just a couple of seconds.

All of that crammed into something that is just 13mm thin, although we do hope that the asking price will be easy on your pockets. Apparently, the top dog of Acer, JT Wang, did mention last week that they will be rolling out a new Ultrabook this coming September for around $800. [Translated Page]
