A while back we wrote a post on a USB necktie clip fan, which as the name implies, clips to the back of your tie and features a mini fan which is apparently used to cool the inside of your shirt and is great for those hot Japanese summers (or US summers). But if you think that a fan won’t cut it, then perhaps Kufukucho’s air-conditioned cooling work shirt might be something worth checking out.

Once again, as the name implies, it’s a shirt that comes built in with fans which we’re assuming is more powerful than the necktie fan since they called this an “air-conditioned” shirt. A control box is used to control and fan and also houses the two AA batteries (which are sold separately).

From the outside the shirt doesn’t appear to be anything special, although people might be suspicious as to why your shirt is making a whirring sound. It’s a short sleeved shirt and comes only in one color, so it’s not really a shirt you would wear to the office unless it’s a casual Friday.

Unfortunately it does not come cheap and will set you back $186, but if you’re interested, it looks like you will be able to get it from Japan Trend Shop.
