There has been countless iPhone 5 rumors – some seemingly credible while some are just outright ridiculous. As to whether Apple is purposely spreading disinformation is unknown, but all we know is that there’s a good chance Apple will be launching their next-generation iPhone this year.

China case manufacturers have allegedly been churning out cases that they claim are the specifications for the device. By doing so they can be sure that if and when the iPhone 5 is released, and assuming it meets the specifications, they will be the first on the market to provide casings and accessories for it. As to how they source their specifications remains unclear, but for now it seems that a reputable case manufacturer, Bluetrek, has announced that they will releasing an iPhone 5 case along with photos.

Based on the photo above, it appears that the case they’re showing off is bigger when compared to the iPhone 4’s case, and the hole for the camera is bigger as well, suggesting that the iPhone 5 will be bigger than the iPhone 4 while sporting a larger camera sensor. It’s not exactly the most convincing photo as it looks easy enough to photoshop and we’re definitely not buying into it.

We’re guessing that they’re most probably fishing for some sort of coverage, but for those interested, apparently the iPhone 5 casing they will be launching “at iPhone 5 launch” will set you back $29.99. What do you guys think? A PR stunt to gain some attention or do you think Bluetrek knows something we don’t?
