I have always been skeptical of those “exercise” machines that you hold on to while it vibrates like mad, claiming to give you great looking abs in ‘x’ number of weeks. Seriously, I don’t think you will be able to gain a six-pack by standing on that device for 15 minutes a day, but there seems to be enough people purchasing it for such ads to appear on TV – and we know TV advertising is not cheap at all. The BodyVib weights take a somewhat similar approach, although you would need to be far more active in pursuing your weight loss goal.

You use these BodyVib weights like normal, but one thing it does is to vibrate at 36Hz (or 2,160 vibrations/min) with an amplitude of 1.2mm, where that is said to bring your training level’s intensity by up to 50%. How so? Such vibrations are touted to be the cause of muscles in your hands and arms come into contraction and relaxing thereafter quickly in a responsive manner, helping you burn even more energy without taking up too much time.

The vibration motor will kick into action only when you grab the handle, where you can opt for 3.3, 6 and 10 pound pairs ranging from £649 all the way to £729. Not cheap at all, but the vain had always paid a heavy price.
