If you can’t decide whether to have a Big Mac or a Quarter Pounder even though you’re a regular at McDonald’s and have remained mayor at your local Mackers for the past couple of years, then surely you would need the Decide-o-tron app if you’re an avid video gamer.

Penny Arcade (one of the more engaging webcomics out there) has teamed up with industry analysts EEDAR, delivering Decide-o-tron 8000 to the masses in the form of a free iOS app (why no Android support?) which will be able to recommend video games based on user feedback, review scores as well as celebrity charts.

The Decide-o-tron catalogue is a rather comprehensive one, comprising of 10,000 games at least which covers the last decade of gaming, starting from Nintendo’s GameCube, Nintendo DS and 3DS, Wii and Wii downloads, to Sony’s PlayStation 2, PS3, PSP and PlayStation Network, as well as Microsoft’s Xbox, 360, Xbox Live Marketplace, and last but not least, the PC.

A barcode scanner function allows you to update your personal library list, while fans of the GameBoy Advance will also not be left out of hte equation. Decide-o-tron analyzes your previous experiences and current preferences, before coming up with a recommendation.
