HP TouchPadWere you planning on getting your hands on the super cheap $99 HP TouchPad but were disappointed that they were sold out? Well according to HP’s blog, it appears the company will produce a limited run of their webOS tablet to satisfy the ongoing demand.

According to their blog, users should be able to expect a new, albeit limited, batch of HP TouchPads in the following weeks. It seems that this will be the last production of HP TouchPads so for those who have been meaning to get the TouchPad, well, I guess you will have to act quick the minute they go up for sale. For a company that supposedly plans to discontinue their webOS devices, they sure are doing everything they can to attract even more customers!

Of course this could be a way for HP to try and salvage their image after the shocking announcement, and it’s just good business and PR sense to keep your customers happy, especially when they are planning to focus their efforts into the business sector. After all what business would trust a company that suddenly abandoned a portion of their customers?

If you’re interested as to when the final batch of TouchPads will be available, HP has advised you follow their blog and check for updates.
