
Who would’ve thought we’d see USB thumb drives with capacities larger than regular hard drives of today? ITRI and Transcend have managed to come up with an ultra thin USB drive with a minimum capacity of 16GB, but can have a maximum capacity of 2TBs! The drive also makes use of USB 3.0, which ensures that it won’t take days just to fill it up with data. There’s no word on when these drives will hit the market, or how much they will cost but we wouldn’t be surprised if they cost an arm and a leg initially.
