Microsoft changes Windows Phone logoNot a fan of the original Windows Phone logo (the Windows symbol inside a circle)? Good news for you because it looks like Microsoft has plans to make some changes to its logo. A Japanese blog, Nanapho, noticed the change recently when the logo on the official Japanese Windows Phone site was replaced with this new square tile instead of the usual round logo. They decided to browse around for more pictures and realized that the logo replacement has been going on for some time now.

No word if Microsoft will be officially announcing the logo change, but from the looks of recent signs, banners and promo materials, it looks like the logo is here to stay. Personally I think it looks great and fits with the whole concept of Windows Phone Metro UI – but some people might think differently. Do you like the new Windows Phone logo?
