The Motorola Droid Bionic is said to be the next big thing where the Android superphone category is concerned, giving close competition to the Galaxy S II. Originally, there were whispers of the Motorola Droid Bionic being slapped with a $250 price point – and while that is already higher than what most people are used to for a high-end phone (which tend to go for $199 with a 2-year contract), it seems that an advertisement for the Droid Bionic has given a $299 price tag – alongside the customary 2-year contract, of course.

A September 8th date was also listed, so you can expect $299 as the minimum price point for which the Droid Bionic will sell for. Perhaps you might want to run a search for a cheaper model if someone out there is willing to take a cut in profits.
