A couple of days ago we reported that the Xbox would be getting a matte finish as opposed to the glossy finish that it usually comes with. Well it looks like Nintendo will be following suit by releasing a new look for their Wii in time for the Christmas season.
The new look will allow the device to sit horizontally as opposed to the standing position, so for those who were actually hoping for a horizontal Wii, I guess they will be getting their wish when Christmas comes around.
The newly designed Wii will come with the Wii Remote Plus controller and a Nunchuck. No word on if this new version of the Wii will cost more than the previous design or if it will maintain its price. I guess we will have to wait to find out!
