OnLive launching in UK September 22nd

Gamers who live in the United Kingdom are in for a surprise – in conjunction with the Eurogamer Expo London happening next month, OnLive will finally be launching its cloud gaming service on September 22nd. And as a treat to Eurogamer attendees, OnLive will be giving them a chance to experience hands-on demonstrations, get sneak previews of upcoming games and OnLive tech and will be eligible for promotions such has free OnLive Game Systems that enable OnLive play on any HDTV.

In case you don’t know about OnLive, (we’ve covered it before) – it’s basically an online service that allows users to play games without having to go through the trouble of downloading, installing, and worrying about things like system requirements. All they need is a supported platform (i.e. computer, OnLive Game System, or tablet (coming soon)) and an internet connection to start playing their favorite games.
