Sony had a cool looking headset that displayed stereoscopic 3D images which was paraded at CES earlier this January in Las Vegas, and it is always nice to see a concept come together to be realized in the actual world. It seems that Sony will be working on the HMZ-T1, where it is tipped to arrive in the Land of the Rising Sun this coming November 11th in Japan. The design has certainly seen some changes since January, but that doesn’t mean the specifications have been altered.

Your eyes will still be treated to a couple of 0.7″ OLED displays that boast a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels, making it feel as though you were viewing a screen that is 750″ in size (diagonally across, that is) from 20 meters away. That seems to be some sort of ass-kicking cinema-sque quality, don’t you think so? The HMZ-T1 will have its very own processor unit to get all the number crunching done right there and then, accompanied by HDMI input and output.

Expect Sony to price this puppy at around $785 after conversion. Seems to be quite the winner if you’re all for personal entertainment, no? [Translated Page]
