A few months ago we wrote about The Trooper – a sleek-looking Star Wars Stormtrooper-inspired external wireless keyboard case for your iPad 2 that turns it into a “laptop”. The case was slated for a summer release, and just as promised – it is now on sale. Other than the aesthetics of The Trooper, it appears to be an updated version of the ClamCase.
For users who want to improve their (typing) productivity on their iPad tablet, and need a case to keep their tablet protected – they can’t really go wrong. Plus the Star Wars-inspired design will definitely be pleasing to a lot of folks out there. The Trooper ClamCase for the iPad 2 is available now, with a price tag of $149. If you’re planning to get one, you might have to hurry, as they did mention it was limited though they didn’t specify how many would be sold.
