Want to have a look at a tablet that never was? Well, what you see on the right is the HP TouchPad Go, the 7″ tablet that was never meant to be. Heck, said device was whispered to be just a couple of weeks before being shipped to the masses when HP decided that webOS hardware had no future, and hence pulled the plug on it. So much for making a splash – a particular participant in the forum stepped forward to say that it had been in his/her possession for three months already.

What you see in the HP TouchPad Go does tally with the FCC filing, which is a 1.5GHz processor that is faster than the TouchPad’s 1.2GHz processor. The spotted model is also said to feature 16GB of internal memory, not to mention cameras in front and at the back.

At 7″ in size with 1024 x 768 resolution, you can be sure that this was going to be a thing of beauty, but alas – it suppose the cosmos has far different plans for the HP TouchPad Go instead.
