Fancy having your iOS device display the look and feel of OS X? Well, some users certainly feel that way, where a built-in file manager that does so would make one feel more at home despite using a mobile device. Since Apple has yet to accede to this particular request, some enterprising folk in the jailbreaking community decided to literally take things into their own hands, hence the Lion Ultimatum theme.
College freshman and ModMyi forum member Timothy Elliot is the brain behind the Lion Ultimatum, where this theme stretches beyond skins and icons. In fact, it will overhaul the whole iPhone and iPod touch interface, making it look far more like OS X than ever before, ranging from a working Menu Bar, working Finder windows, a scrollable dock as well as a Dashboard and its respective widgets, a lock screen with phone, mail and SMS notifications amongst others.
You will, of course, require a jailbroken iPhone to get this up and running, and iPad owners – you can rule out Lion Ultimatum at the moment as it is not compatible with the hot selling tablet at the moment.
