Mystery Samsung handset nominated in CTIA list?

The CTIA Enterprise & Applications expo has drawn up a list of finalists for what they consider could very well prove to be a mover and shaker in the upcoming holiday season under the “Hot for the Holidays” banner. You can check out the entire list here, which shows that Samsung has proved to be a rather popular company with CTIA’s panel. While some devices were named, CTIA remained rather quiet about the others – as one of the nominations under the Gamer & Entertainment Enthusiast segment sees three entrants from Samsung: the Galaxy Tab 8.9, Galaxy Tab 10.1 and “A product to be announced from Samsung Mobile”.

Any idea on what product that is? If it were to make it to that particular category, you can be sure that Sammy didn’t hold back in packing said device chock-full with top of the line hardware. Could it be the Galaxy S3 that has yet to be announced? Guess we will find out when October 12th rolls around.
