For those of you who own a PS3 but have not been dropping by Home for the longest time already, here is an interesting bit of news – a reboot of PlayStation Home is well on its way, ready to make its mark this autumn. The team behind PlayStation Home have been working hard behind the scenes, hoping to deliver everything a PS3 owner loves, especially games.

Soon, there will be a new core Home experience as well as a changed Home Square – and while not all changes are positive in life, this one is changing for the better. Folks living in Europe will be able to enjoy a revamped Home Square and a new “districts” design that will help you find games, people and places which fit within your favorite game genre. The new Home Square is capable of integrating games, quests, and community events, and there is more to sweeten the deal – you will be able to enjoy additional navigation, shopping, social tools and entertainment options.

As for the final design, Sony is not going to show all their cards at once, so you will need to keep your fingers crossed that the new design is something that suits your tastes. New districts in the form of Action, Adventure and Sportswalk will also be launched in addition to a new Indie Park. Are you stoked yet?
