RAGE – Jackal Canyon gameplay video footage looks fantastic

Five more days until RAGE is officially released, and Bethesda and id Software have decided to release the final RAGE gameplay video footage and the game is looking very, very good. Visuals are top notch, and gameplay is straightforward enough. But AI does look more advanced than id’s previous games, with enemies ducking, making calculated moves, attacking from far when possible instead of just charging towards you all the time.

A wide variety of the games weapons are shown – from shotguns, to rocket launchers, and dynamite robots to sniper rifles. Oh, there’s some vehicle action at the beginning as well. I don’t know about you but this gameplay trailer makes me want to play it even more than I did before, and with so many high-profile shooters being released in this quarter, it looks like it’s going to be a busy end of year for FPS fans out there.
