Skype Mac OS X

Skype introduced Facebook integration in its IM/VoIP client not too long ago, but it was only available for Windows users, which meant that Mac users didn’t get the chance to use Facebook from within Skype itself. Starting today though, that has all changed. With Skype for Mac 5.4 Beta, Mac users will get the same Facebook integration that is found in Skype 5.5 for Windows.

This means that Mac users can now IM and connect with Facebook friends without having to launch a separate program. Users can also access the News Feed, comment and “like” posts as well. Head over to theĀ Skype website on your Mac computer to download Skype 5.4 for Mac Beta and start enjoying Facebook within Skype today.
