Let’s face the facts – a robotic chariot at this point in time will probably be unable to strike fear in the hearts of slaves in an arena, compared to those Roman machines of war that had knives at the wheels to literally cut down the competition. Well, at least Bob Schneeveis and Grant Grundler’s Solar Electric Robot Chariot is a start, where this particular chariot made an appearance at Maker Faire Bay Area 2011. Basically, you have a robot to move you around on a chariot, getting its juice from the power of the sun.
