Sony Ericsson giving away four games for Xperia Play on October 1st

Good news for Xperia Play owners, if you’ve been complaining about how expensive it is to buy games for the handset, Sony Ericsson is going to make your weekend. Starting this Saturday, October 1^st, Sony Ericsson will be making four new games free for both current and new Xperia Play owners – and these aren’t indie $0.99 games (not that I have anything against them) – but full-fledged big budget titles from EA.

The four new games that will be free for the Xperia Play are: Need for Speed Shift, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, Dead Space and Battlefield Bad Company 2. That should keep those thumbs and fingers busy for awhile. Keep your eyes peeled on the Xperia Games Launcher for those free Xperia Play games.

Android: Android is the mobile operating system from Google. The software was originally built by a company called Android Inc, that was purchased by Google in 2005. From its modest debuts, Android has become a powerhouse that powers not only smartphones and tablet, but a host of other less high-profile devices and gadgets.
