The company has announced the introduction of its newest generation of My Passport drives: the My Passport Studio and My Passport for Mac. The My Passport Studio is designed for on-the-go photographers, videographers, artists, and basically people who need to transfer large amounts of data all the time. It features two FireWire 800 ports and a USB 2.0 interface, encryption and password protection software, and is available in sizes of up to 1TB.

The My Passport for Mac is designed for Mac users looking for high capacity storage in an ultra-compact lightweight design. It has a USB 2.0 port, and is available in sizes of up to 1TB. Both My Passport portable hard disks are available now, with prices starting at $119.99 for the 750GB My Passport for Mac, and $129.99 for the 1TB version. The My Passport Studio will cost you $159.99 got 750GB and $179.99 for 1TB.
