Mazes are fun to play as they do simulate the mind and get the brain cranking, regardless of your age. Well, we do know that watches do come in 4-bit variations where telling the time is concerned, so here is an interesting take on a maze as it has been transformed into a tiny electromechanical 4-bit maze. Sounds nerdy, yes, but the whole point of it is this – apparently the maze itself has proved to be rather fun to play, where you can check it out for yourself in the video after the jump.
In order to complete the maze, motorized faders represent the 0 and 1 states of the bits, while an Ardunio will ensure that motor control and game logic remains in tip top condition. Definitely not something for those who do not have a penchant for logic and figures, but that future engineer in your kid might think differently.
