RIM reconfirms Blackberry Playbook Rapid Charger will work for Blackberry smartphones

About a month back, RIM’s ShopBlackBerry listed that the charger for the Blackberry Playbook can be used to charge Blackberry devices, and based on its output, it pretty much stated that Blackberry devices, when using the Blackberry Playbook Rapid Charger, will be able to charge twice as fast.

While RIM may have been somewhat ambiguous at that time simply by stating that “current Blackberry smartphones” will be compatible with the charger, they have now published an entire list of Blackberry devices that are compatible with the Rapid Charger.
