Is Dell purposely teasing their potential customers by slowly releasing information on the upcoming Latitude ST? First of all, it appeared on a promotional video earlier this week, and now it has made its way on Dell’s Corporate Blog. Certainly this is all the evidence one needs to confirm the existence of such a tablet, but what else can we learn about it that we don’t already know?
This enterprise tablet will be powered by the extremely stable Windows 7 operating system, where an Intel Atom processor will run proceedings from underneath the hood, and your fingers will get used to dancing across the 10″ multi-touch display in no time, although the more formal folks in suits might prefer the elegance of a stylus. Other hardware specifications include Wi-Fi connectivity, the option to include mobile broadband, front and rear webcams and a built-in microphone.
Don’t worry about giving the Latitude ST a few knocks – it has its fair share of durability features including Gorilla Glass and a rubber bumper. Security-wise, you will get a remote hard drive wipe, Microsoft Bitlocker support and a Kensington Lock slot. No idea on pricing as at press time – how much will you fork out for it?
