GameStop now sells Android tabletsGameStop has previously mentioned that it will be releasing gaming tablets next year, but for now it looks like it will be in the business of selling regular Android tablets at some of its stores. As of today, the company will be offering a lineup of various Android tablets that come with access to the Kongregate Arcade app store, with 7 free games including Dead Space, Madden and Sonic CD. Depending on how well the retailer does with these tablets, the company may or may not sell tablets at more stores in 2012.

The tablets you’ll be able to buy from GameStop are: the Acer Iconia Tab A100, ASUS Eee Pad Tansformer and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. The tablets cost about the same as you would find them elsewhere, with the only incentive to purchase them from GameStop being the free games and the opportunity to pick up games for your other consoles when you shop for a tablet. Are 7 free games enough to convince you to shop with them?
