If there’s one advantage Google+ has over Facebook, it would be a whole suite of Google web products and services to link with. It looks like Google has finally realized this and has been slowly implementing Google+ features into its other services. Last week it was announced that Google Reader will be undergoing some changes to bring closer integration with Google+ and it’s not going to be the last Google product to do so.
According to the folks at VentureBeat who paid Google a visit last week, they’ve reported that Google will be integrating Google+ features into all its web products – this means you’re going to get Google+ features on services like Blogger to Gmail. Redundant features i.e. friend connect and following will be replaced with Google+ versions of the function to make things more streamlined.
This definitely sounds like a great idea and only seems like the logical thing to do, since Google wants more people to use Google+ and wants some leverage over its biggest competitor: Facebook. But how successful this integration is going to be? That’s something we’ll just have to wait and see. Who’s excited about Google+ integration arriving on all Google products?
