Sprint has officially announced the launch of a forgotten member of the EVO family – the HTC EVO Design 4G. In case you don’t remember the phone, it was first mentioned on Gameloft’s website a couple of months ago, and then had its specs leaked not long after. Well for those of you who were looking forward to the phone we’ve some good news for you: you can get your hands on the HTC EVO Design 4G starting this Sunday.
The HTC EVO 4G will feature a 1.2GHz processor, a 4″ qHD (540 x 960) display, Android 2.3 Gingerbread (with HTC Sense), 768MB of RAM, a 5-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front facing camera, Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi, 4G (WiMAX) connectivity, DLNA, World Phone capabilities, and HTC Watch. It will go on sale October 23rd for $99.99 (with a 2-year agreement), which makes the phone an ideal choice for consumers who want a 4G device but don’t want to pay a premium price.
