If the current crop of BlackBerry phones aren’t too your liking and you’re looking for something else, well RIM has got two more phones for you. Previously leaked but never officially announced, the BlackBerry 9380 and 9790 have been mentioned in a post on the BlackBerry Developer’s Blog. Under an update about screen resolutions and smartphone simulators for upcoming BlackBerry 7 smartphones, the company mentioned the name and details about the phones’ displays.
The BlackBerry 9380 (Curve 9380) will feature a 480 x 360 2.44″ display and the BlackBerry 9790 (Bold 9790) will pack a 470 x 360 2.44″ display. While this isn’t a lot of information we’ve already got plenty of leaked details in the past – it’s just nice to know that RIM still has the phones in the pipeline and will be releasing them in the future. Still no word on an official release date though. We’ll keep you posted.
