Pantech Hotshot headed to VerizonIf you’re not too fussed about what sort of platform your phone runs on, and you just want something affordable, Verizon has just announced the Pantech Hotshot, which by all accounts looks like a feature phone with a touch screen display. However like said, if you don’t really care about platforms or you’re looking to try out a touch screen device before deciding on a platform, the Pantech Hotshot should accomplish that goal without breaking the bank.

The Hotshot will feature a 3.2” LCD display and will only be 0.35” thick. It sports a 3.2MP camera and comes with 2GB microSD card pre-installed, although you can swap it out for a 32GB if you feel that 2GB is not enough memory for your songs/photos/videos. The device even features 3 different home screens that users can customize depending on their needs. The Pantech Hotshot is expected to go on sale 6th October and will command a price of $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate on a two year contract.
