[CEATEC 2011] “Let us lay our cards on the table,” you tell the rest of your business associate in a high powered meeting. Well, they aren’t going to whip out their name cards or figuratively start sharing each and every viewpoint over a particular situation, but will literally lay their cards on Pioneer’s discussion table that is currently being showcased at CEATEC 2011 in Japan.
This model of multi-touch goodness does far more than just offer a modern alternative to the standard meeting table – since it is interactive, it will be able to let you share your multimedia presentations as well as images with the rest in the room without the need for a projector, although do get ready the standard easel, paper and pen just in case there is a blackout and you need to resort to some old school charting.
It does remind me of the Tacto LCD display that we saw at CES earlier this year, which has proved to be highly impressive. I wonder whether you can play Angry Birds on Pioneer’s discussion table?
