Great news for QuickOffice HD users with Android or iPad tablets – an update for the office productivity suite (version 5.0) is in the works and it will include with heavy cloud integration as one of its new features.
The new version of QuickOffice HD Android will have features like drag and drop for easy file management, cloud storage integration, support for all Microsoft Office file formats including Office 2010. Document editing has also been improved, with WYSIWYG image editing (i.e. rotation and resizing), real time text formatting and more. The iPad version of QuickOffice HD will feature SharePoint integration and improvement in usability.
QuickOffice basically plans to turn its app suite into “the most cloud-connected office productivity software out there” with the upcoming update. QuickOffice HD 5.0 for Android tablets and the iPad will be arriving sometime in November. Check out a video demonstration of some of its new features:
