Toshiba has expanded their Camileo line with a trio of new camcorders – the X416, X400 and X200 models that will be able to offer Full HD resolution recording capability even at a relatively low entry price point of $229 onwards. All three models will share a 3″ diagonal swiveling LCD touchscreens that sport on-screen video trimming as well as deliver a bunch of capabilities for consumers to capture, edit, send and share memories – whether those will be in a video clip or a photo still, it doesn’t matter.

Toshiba falls back on the traditional barrel-style camcorder with the Camileo X416 and X400 models, where the former is the flagship model that boasts an impressive 23x optical zoom and 120x digital zoom, 16GB of memory, up to 3 hours of video recording in Full HD resolution, and a memory card slot that offers up to 128GB of additional storage amongst others.

As for the Camileo X400 camcorder, this model will come with a powerful 23x optical zoom lens and Electronic Image Stabilization, a Pause button that is strategically positioned for easy access, and an SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card slot. Shared features include a built-in microphone jack.

As for the entry-level model, the Camileo X200 camcorder is no pushover, sporting slow-motion technology support, time-lapse, and a black and white filter amongst others. Other features comprise of 12x optical zoom, 20x advanced zoom and 60x digital zoom.

Expect the Camileo X416 and X400 to retail for $319.99 and $279.99, respectively. [Press Release]
