Have you watched Real Steel? I half expected Hugh Jackman to do a Wolverine on Zeus by popping out his claws, severing the head of robots just like how he treated Sentinels in the X-Men comics. Good thing the story did not turn out that way, as Real Steel sported far more soul despite having less robots compared to the loud Transformers franchise. For fans of the latter, you will be pleased to hear that a Blu-ray 3D version of Transformers: Dark of the Moon is coming your way – although it will hit Japan first on January 20th next year, boasting English and Japanese soundtracks.

I wonder how those who picked up the Blu-ray version of Transformers: Dark of the Moon just a few weeks ago feel – did you wish that such information should be released so that you can hold your money? I guess it might not matter much, since not that many folks have a 3D capable HDTV not to mention 3D compatible Blu-ray player at home to take advantage of such imagery stored on a disc just yet.

No idea on whether those of us living Stateside will be getting a similar version in due time, but I guess you can always import one if the answer is a “Nay!”.
