Verizon subscribers, if you own the Blackberry Curve 3G and you think your base data plan of $29.99 a month is too expensive, especially since all you do is send instant messages and browse Facebook, Verizon has a new plan for you in the form of a “social” data plan that will only cost you $10 a month.

This new plan by Verizon will basically give the subscriber 75MB worth of web browsing data with access to Facebook, MySpace and Twitter. Users will also be able to access Blackberry Messenger, AIM, Google Talk, Yahoo Messenger and Windows Live Messenger.

This new plan is unfortunately only applicable for the Blackberry Curve 3G, and will only be available when you purchase the phone on a two year contract with Verizon, with the phone priced at $49.99 on contract.
