VIZIO has just announced that its 8″ tablets will be receiving a firmware update today – one that brings Netflix to the Android tablet as a pre-loaded app. In addition to the usual fixes and upgrades provided with update, the inclusion of the Netflix app will let subscribers of the video on demand service use the tablet as a second screen to watch all their favorite TV shows and movies at home. VIZIO tablet users who also own VIZIO Internet Apps enabled HDTVs and Blu-ray players can easily pause and resume Netflix TV episodes between devices.
Great for those times when you’re kicked out of the TV room because somebody else wants to watch an important event on TV, and you don’t want to stop watching the show you’re watching at the moment.
