These days, it seems as though electric vehicles are surely making headway across the country in a variety of models from different manufacturers, but most of them would be four wheelers. How about a select group of people who prefer to zip around on a motorcycle? Well, I guess this is where the Volta BCN electric motorcycle comes in handy – this all-electric motorcycle will be unveiled at the EICMA Motorshow in Milan in November, where you will be able to select from a trio of models – the BCN Sport, BCN City, and BCN My Volta.

It does not matter which model you decide to grace your garage with, all of them will come with 35 horses under the hood, with a range of 70 kilometers. Admittedly, since they have different names, surely each model will sport various other tweaks in order to live up to their namesake.

Expect to pay around €7,000 thereabouts for your Volta BCN electric motorcycle, where the first batch is expected to make their way out of the assembly line sometime in the second quarter of 2012. There will be a reservation list drawn up at the start of next year just in case you are one of the interested parties.
