Apple seems to be rather busy these days, rolling out firmware updates left, right and center. Hot off the heels of their firmware update for the MacBook Pro yesterday which supposedly stops the random restart of your machine, along ambles Firmware Update 7.6 for the AirPort Base Station and Time Capsule. It seems that this latest update will be able to fix a bunch of issues which will comprise of an issue concerning audio streaming via AirPlay. Basically, all 802.11n AirPort Express, AirPort Extreme, and Time Capsule devices are eligible for Firmware Update 7.6, where it ought to bid adieu to issues concerning performance on overlapping wireless networks, AirPlay audio streaming as mentioned earlier, and the problem with configuring multiple entries for DNS servers. In order to install the new firmware update, make sure you have AirPort Utility on your Mac or iOS device, with Apple recommending the use of AirPort Utility 5.5.3 or later.
