BBM Music has finally arrivedA couple of months ago, there were rumors about RIM launching a BlackBerry Messenger-based music service floating around. Those rumors turned out to be true and a few weeks later, BBM Music was officially launched. And now it looks like the app/service is about to make its way to our BlackBerry phones very soon. RIM has just announced on the official BlackBerry blog that BBM Music will be available for downloading within the next 24 hours in Canada, the US and Australia (with more regions in the near future).

BBM Music is a BBM-connected social music service that allows BBM and BlackBerry smartphone users to discover, listen to and share their music collections together- it basically allows you to connect with your friends through music on a whole new level. The service will be available in premium  and free flavors with the difference being that the free version will only let users listen to 30 second clips as opposed to the full songs of the premium version.

Find out more about BBM Music here, or head over to the BlackBerry App World to download the app.
