Want to transfer images wireless from your camera to a computer without even having to take out the memory card? That’s been done before with the Eye-Fi range of SD memory cards which sport a built-in Wi-Fi module, but here is a Kickstarter project that offers something far different. Sanho is the group behind the CloudFTP project, where this diminutive box will be connected to a USB connection, letting you access all the contents on the connected device.

If you want to access photos and recorded video, just make sure the CloudFTP is connected to the camera in order to transfer it to the computer without having to deal with a cable, and how about this – making your collection of downloaded videos game to everyone else in the house by creating a wireless file server of sorts? There is even the option of developing an ad hoc connection to a smartphone so that you can access or transfer content on a CloudFTP-connected hard drive.Hopefully Sanho hits the $100,000 they’re requesting from the public over at Kickstarter.
