Sony’s upcoming Bloggie camcorder has already arrived at the FCC, where it seems as though it will be known as the Mobile HD Snap – of course, if you are one who is more inclined to model numbers, then the new Bloggie is known as the MHS-TS55. I guess for someone like me, sticking to a nickname like Mobile HD Snap is far easier on the brain. This new camcorder model will also include built-in Wi-Fi connectivity that allows you to upload all your recorded video onto the Internet via various channels like Facebook with but a single press of a button.
As for whether it can stream live content, that remains to be seen, but we would definitely be stoked if that feature were to be included in the final version. Chances are also pretty high that this will be able to do Full HD video recording, clearly placing this in the higher end segment of the market. Hopefully Sony’s efforts in the mobile camcorder market will not end up like the eventually ill-fated Flip camcorder…
