Spotify has certainly been a very active bunny over the past few months, with no doubt that its release in the US earlier this year in July being the catalyst. It was just in October that we heard Spotify working together with Western Digital in order to bring music to the living room, and now everything has become far more official – with it being available on Philips Streamium Wireless Hi-Fi component systems, namely the MCi8080 and the MCi900.

All you need to do is turn on your Streamium system, and an update ought to notify you. Needless to say, before you proceed with this particular option, you are required to sign up for a Spotify Premium subscription beforehand. For those who are already grooving to a Spotify Premium service, surely you are using it on at least one mobile device – this means your mobile device can be transformed into a remote control thanks to the Philips MyRemote app which comes in iOS and Android flavors.
